You've somehow stumbled upon the first post of the new Mechani-Klub blog. So congratulations on your amazing discovery. Now for some background on this blog...
Mechani-Kon was a Winnipeg-based event founded in 2009 by myself and Alex Bedard. We've run the event for the ensuing years, with the upcoming event—Mechani-Kon 6—set to run on April 11th, 2015. As all good things must come to an end, Mechani-Kon 6 will be the final event that Alex and I plan on running for the foreseeable future.
But, not all is lost!
In 2011, Alex and I also started the Mechani-Klub; a semi-regular gathering of gamers. The club went somewhat incognito in 2012, and this blog marks the return of that club, in a newer and hipper form. We have a blog. It's shiny. And I would be lying if I wasn't swiping the idea from the hugely successful folks from the Fawcett Avenue Conscripts (you should check them out too).
Here's to the return of the Mechani-Klub. Updates, bloggery, and gamery are sure to follow!
